Salary: £9-10 per hour

Accounts/ Ledger Assistant to provide vital assistance to the Shared Services Function of a market leading technology company’s global HQ. If you have an eye for detail and experience within a similar role this could be for you.

As an Accounts / Ledger Assistant you will be required to:


  • Create customer sales invoices on a weekly and monthly basis in multi currencies as appropriate
  • Accurately recording and reporting of revenue across multi-currency ledgers within the group
  • Raise regular (at least weekly) customer credit note requests to resolve all known errors and issues preventing invoices being paid
  • Complete credit note log regarding reasons for credit note generation
  • Monitor and record customer blanket purchase order limits to ensure these are not exceeded
  • Expedite purchase orders from customers to ensure no delay in issuing or payment of invoice
  • Build and maintain effective internal relationships with Account Support Assistants, Account Managers, Sales Managers and other managers across the business as dictated by the needs of the function
  • Maintain and keep up to date Excel/CSV upload templates for sales invoice/credit creation
  • Issue reports as requested to Account Support Assistants, Account Managers, Sales Managers, Credit Controller, and customers


To be considered for the Accounts / Ledger Assistant role you will need to:

  • Have a strong track record of working within a similar role and sound knowledge of accounting processes
  • Have excellent knowledge of MS Office: Excel, Outlook, and Word
  • Have previous experience of a service industry and/or logistics is desirable
  • Have a high level of accuracy and attention to details
  • Have strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Be self-motivated and enthusiastic
  • Be hardworking and hands on
