Senior Presales Consultant - IT Automation Software

Responsibilities:
*Working alongside direct sales taking responsibility for handling the technical elements of the sales cycle.
*Presenting to end customers at strategic level demonstrating software and proving the concept and value proposition of client service offerings.
*Working closely with R&D and Product Management to be closely involved with future product direction and strategy - providing valuable input from "the field".
*Working closely with Professional Services to properly define and scope services and prepare for Proof of Concept (POC) engagements.
*Overseeing the customer proposal process and ensuring that all technical information and recommendations address customer requirements.
Requirements:
*Demonstrable Presales experience working specifically with data center automation technology i.e. HP Opsware, CA Unicenter, IBM, EMC, BMC or related automation software
*Strong commercial awareness with the ability to influence at senior level and communicate articulately complex business value proposition.
*Bachelors Degree in Engineering, Computer Science or related field preferred
*Excellent business writing, communication, and presentation skills.

£75k base
